Three Wheeled Buggies

Whether you're looking for a buggy run with or just a compact stroller for the neighborhood, three-wheeled buggies are great for mobility. Their compact design makes it easy to maneuver, even in tight spaces.

For a smooth ride, go for a pram that has air-filled tyres and look for models with an swivel wheel that rotates 360 degrees in front. They are prone, however to punctures. Be prepared with an emergency repair kit.

Its tyres (which are inflatable and require periodic pumping) have suspension built-in which was extremely comfortable for my children.

The shape and size of the seat is another aspect to think about. It is important for the seat to be big enough to allow your child to be comfortable and allow them to lie down. Some three-wheel buggies offer an option to lie flat completely while others will only allow a parent facing one.

The Roma Atlas is a great alternative for off-road or walking in muddy areas. This buggy is ideal for a single child as early as birth and can be adjusted to accommodate two children as your family expands. It is suitable for babies and toddlers up to age four and comes with a bumper bar, raincover, a better 5-point harness and large padded seat unit. Larger wheels

Larger wheels give your buggy more stability while driving over rough terrain. This is perfect for buggies designed for off-road use. They also make it easier to manoeuvre the pushchair in tight spaces. Many three wheeled buggies have swivel front wheels to help you navigate around corners with ease, whereas others are designed for running and have fixed front wheels that lock to improve the speed and stability with which they can be pushed. This also helps when you crash into the roots of a tree or stray road, as the front wheel will lift up to keep you from hitting it.

Many 3 wheel pushchair sale wheel pushchairs feature air filled tyres which means they can be used on different terrains and are more flexible than four wheelers. They're also lighter. However, they are prone to punctures, so you'll need an repair kit, spare tube and pump handy.

Fortunately, many models come with compact folding options that allow you to take off the front wheels to create more compact storage.

Easy to Manoeuvre

A three-wheel buggy can be more comfortable to drive with a child. The way in which they are built means that the front wheels rotate on a dime and are incredibly maneuverable, making them ideal for tricky terrain like cobbles, parks, bumpy pavements and dirt tracks.

I was also amazed by the way it handled kerbs when using the hand-operated break. It was very stable going downhill or on uneven terrain."

The only drawback to this great maneuverability, is that the larger wheels of the 3 wheel stroller wheel buggy can sometimes make it difficult to squeeze into tight spaces. This is something to be aware of when your home is a city. If this is a problem then a four-wheeled buggy might be the better choice for you.
